2026 Summer Board of Directors Meeting

President Duane Jolibois called the meeting to order at 12:13 PM.  Mike Abbott led the opening prayer.

  1. Reading of Minutes

Justin motioned to forego minutes, with a second by Weldon. Motion passed.

There was no old business.

  1. New Business

The Board agreed that the names of staff members for each week of camp will be reviewed by all Camp Directors and Board members. To facilitate this process, the proposed staff list for each camp week shall be emailed to the CYE President, who will distribute it to the Camp Directors and Board members for review. This review should be completed as early in the year as possible and before the beginning of each camp week.

2027 Camp Weeks, Corporation meeting, retreat scheduling.

Jr. Week 6-11 June 2027 Heath Chatman will direct. Justin Simmons will be assistant

Jr. Hi Week 20-25 June 2027 Jacob Roberts will direct 

Sr. Week 11-16 July 2027 Terrell Guillory will direct, and Tim Carter will assist.  

Forest Park 27 June – 2 July Ongoing rental

Royal Family Kids 17-23 July 2027 Ongoing rental

The 2027 Corporation/Board of directors meeting will be held at Ingallwood Park on July 17, 2027, beginning at 9:00 AM.  

The 2026 Jr./Jr. Hi Fall Retreat will be scheduled at a later date. Jacob Roberts will be directing.

The 2026 Senior Retreat will be November 6-5, 2026 (tentative). 

The Mid-Winter Board of Directors Meeting will be held at the Denham Springs Church of Christ on Saturday, 27 February 2027 at 9:00AM.

Workday is scheduled for May 15, 2027.
