The meeting was called to order by President Duane Jolibois at 9:10AM. Opening prayer was led by David Broussard

II. Reading of Minutes
1) Minutes of the 2023 Winter Board Meeting were read. Motion was made by Greg and seconded by Terrell to approve the minutes as read. Motion carried.
2) Minutes of Summer Board Meeting were read for informational purposes.
III. Financial Report
1) The financial report was presented by Justin.

Heath Chatman motioned to approve the financial report as given, with a 2nd from Terrell Guillory. Motion carried.
IV. Old Business
1) Shed rebuild will be completed prior to 2024 Camp Season
2) Pool fence will be completed by 2024 Camp Season
3) The need for lifeguards was discussed.
V. New Business – Lesson Plans
1) 2024 Camp Directors presented the lesson plans for 2024
2) Lessons were discussed at length. The board commended the directors for their efforts in their work. Motion to accept plans/themes was made by David Broussard with a second by Greg Trahan. Motion carried.
3) Marriage Retreat will be March 8-10.
4) A Ladies’ Retreat is being considered for 2024
5) A “Tween” Retreat for Girls is being discussed for 2024
6) The need for increased revenue was discussed.
Camper Fee Adjustment: It was agreed that camper fee will be adjusted to $200/week.
a. Terrell motioned to raise rental fee will be adjusted to 200 immediately with plans to make future annual adjustments to raise fees 50/year until we reach 300/ year. Second by Jamie. Motion carried.
b. Bryan McGee motioned to charge teen workers 50% of camper fee with a second from Terrell. Motion carried.
c. Motion by David Broussard motioned to adjust rental to $5000 / week with 2nd from Greg. Motion carried.
d. Retreat fees will be adjusted to 90/weekend.
Individual Donations: A letter will be sent requesting a one-time donation from individual friends of CYE.
Fund-Raisers: Member churches will be encouraged to sponsor funder raisers for the camp.
7) Dress code for the campers was discussed. It was stressed that Directors will be responsible for enforcing dress code.
VI. Spring Sr. Retreat
1) Sr. Retreat will be 24-26 May; cost will be $90 and will be directed by Denham Springs and Bayou Jacque.
2) Workday
The workday will be 18 May
