i. President Duane Jolibois called the meeting to order at 12:17 AM. Heath Chatman led with an opening prayer.

II. Reading of Minutes of 2023 Winter Board Meeting. Motion to accept by Heath Chatman and seconded by David Broussard. Passed.
Terrell Guillory motioned with a second from Justin Simmons that we forgo reading of Summer 2023 Board Meeting minutes. Passed.

There was no old business.
IV. New Business
2024 Camp Weeks, Corporation Meetings and Retreat Schedule
Jr. Week- 09-14 June 2024 Heath Chapman and Justin Simmons
Jr. High Week- 23-28 June 2024 Jacob Roberts and Brock Dupont
Sr. Week- 14-19 July 2024 Terrell Guillory and Tim Carter
The 2024 Mid-Winter Board Meeting will be held in Denham Springs Church of Christ on February 24, 2024 at 09:00 AM.
The 2024 Corporation/Board of Directors meeting will be held at CYE on July 20, 2024. The spring Workday will be held on May 18, 2024 at CYE.The 2023 Jr./Jr. High Fall Retreat dates TBD. Age group will be 8-14 years old. It will be sponsored
LeCompte Church of Christ and be directed by Jack Roberts.
The Senior Retreat will be held on November 10-12, 2023 sponsored by Denham Spring and Bayou Jacque.
Marriage Retreat will be directed by Ben and Marly Meyers and be held November 3-4, 2023.
Plans are being made to have a “watch night” weekend December 30, 2023-January 1, 2024.

II. Reading of Minutes
1) Minutes of the 2022 Winter Board Meeting were read. A typo under Utilities, Water Works #3 was corrected to read $1,182.85. Motion was made by Jamie and seconded by Greg to approve the minutes as corrected. Motion was passed.
2) Minutes of Summer Board Meeting were read for informational purposes.
III. Financial Report

Revenue: Camp weeks $14,155.27
Rentals $1,500.00
Total: $217,589.27
*It was pointed out that of the $140,113.00 coming from churches/organizations, $110,000.00 came from a congregation that began meeting in another location after selling their church building. This is an anomaly and cannot be relied upon for future income.

IV. Old Business
1) Board was reminded that the 2023 Corporation and Board meetings will be held at the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ at 9:00AM on Saturday, 22 July 2023.
V. New Business – Lesson Plans
1) 2023 Camp Directors presented the lesson plans for 2023
2) Lessons were discussed at length
3) The board commended the directors for their efforts in their work
4) Motion to accept was made by Greg with a second by Jamie
5) Motion passed
VI. Spring Sr. Retreat
1) Sr. Retreat will be 19-21 May; cost will be $60 and will be directed by Denham Springs and Bayou Jacque. The special guest speaker will be Jason Jenkins. Jason is a gifted and popular speaker and He will have 3 presentations over the weekend. The theme will be “Coming Home” and will be directed toward “Coming Home to Christ” with a secondary application to “Coming Home to CYE”.
VII. Workday
1) The workday will be 13 May with special attention being given to the pool. It has a leak that must be repaired if it is to be available for summer camp.
2) The old tractor shed is to be torn down.
